


ROSTER / WAIVER:
• All players must be on your TeamSnap roster.
• All players must sign the Liability Waiver before playing.
• Teams have no minimum or maximum # of players...we do reccomend 13 (8M/5W)
• Guest Players are welcome during the Regular Season and with a signed Liability Waiver.
• WEFA Soccer is not responsible for persons who have not signed the Liability Waiver.
MATCHES:
• 7v7 soccer with referees.
• Half-sized fields with full-sized goals.
• Two 28 min halves with a 2 min half-time.
• Teams must have same colored jerseys.
• Each Team must field at least 3 women.
• Players must wear shin-guards.
• For the protection of the field and players...no metal cleats/studs.
• Sub 'on the fly' at mid-field.
• No sliding.
• No off-sides.
• No throw-ins, only pass-ins (on ground).
• No goal kicks or goalie punts, only goalie throws (before 2nd hash line).
• All Fouls result in a Direct Kick for the opposing Team.
• Blue Card (2 Minute Penalty) = player must leave pitch w/o sub...any player may return after 2 min OR an opponents goal.
• Yellow Card (4 minute Penalty) = player must leave pitch w/o sub...any player may return ONLY after 4 min are up.
• Red Card (Ejection) = player must leave premises (w/o sub) and will
be suspended one or more games, as deemed by the League.
• All injuries must be reported to a League Official.
• Any rules not specifically covered will be taken from FIFA's Laws of the Game.
PLAYER CONDUCT:
• For the protection of the field...ONLY WATER is allowed in the bench area, all other drinks and/or personal items must remain on track next to bleachers.
• Players are expected to be courteous and sportsmanlike.
• Rough play or referee dissent will not be tolerated.
• Clean-up after yourselves and each other.
PRE-GAME:
• Please be ready to start as soon as the previous match ends.
• There will be room on track or behind the football goalposts to warm up.
FORFEITS / CANCELLATIONS:
• 5 players (min 2 women) are required to start a match.
• Forfeits will result in a loss with a score of 5-0.
• Please notify the league in advance if you need to forfeit a game so supplemental players or a replacement team can be arranged.
• Matches will be played 'rain or shine' unless cancelled by Cranston Parks and Recreation.
• If there is a cancellation, all players will be notified via e-mail and we will attempt to add make-up games to the end of the season.
PLAYOFFS:
• Only paid and registered players on the TeamSnap roster can participate in playoffs.
• Playoffs occur at the end of the season...format TBD.
• Seeding will be based on regular season standings. * Regular season wins=3 pts, ties=1 pt, losses=0 pts.
• Ties in the standings will be resolved by: wins, head-to-head wins, goal differential, best-dressed team.
